What We Do

Preserving the Greenwood  grounds is essential to ensuring Greenwood Cemetery remains a viable component in the overall history of Tuskegee.  The process includes not only the landscaping and overall upkeep of the physical space, but the assessment of conditions of the headstones and markets, as well as  researching and cataloging  the records and documents.

In partnership with Tuskegee University Center for Bioethics, we are working to develop educational content that educators in the community will be able to access for free.   

We're in the process of developing a virtual guided tour of the cemetery so that individuals and groups can hear the stories and see the final resting place of people who made their mark on our community, the nation and the world.
